2022 Overview

As we hit the ground running for 2023, it’s hard not to look back at everything we accomplished last year.

Our team has been able to bring A LOT of ideas to life with some great partners in 2022. Starting with Nestle, which included a brand refresh of the classic snack, Hot Pockets, and creating a chilled poppable bite snack, Rallies. We designed the first hydration drink that benefits your body and mind: Local Weather. From sourcing ingredients to packaging design, Interact incubated a new mushroom based skincare line, Elder Flower. Continuing to venture into the self-care market, we worked with every category from soap (Jukebox) to cannabis gummies (Boxer Six). There were so many other amazing brands we were able to work on this year such as Dr. Squatch,Stem Ciders, Widmer Brothers, Sly, BelliWelli, Fresh Clean Threads, Orgain, Javy, and EmBeba. You can check out more of our work here.

Not to brag, but we won a few awards. Our work was recognized by Dieline for the Designalytics Effectiveness award. Our client, Goodpop, was the grand prize winner. After the redesign launched, sales increased by 40% compared to the prior year.Country Archer was also a finalist with sales increasing by 28% after the packaging redesign.

There were lot’s of firsts this year. We worked on our first NFT project with over 10,000+ pieces of art. We worked in new categories such as apparel and esports. There were also plenty of seconds. We also incubated another brand this time in the functional beauty space, Elder Flower, alongside a talented founder. With a growing team across the country, Austin is now home to our newest studio.

We came together & volunteered as a team for a number of initiatives that were important to us. We sorted clothing (both clean and dirty…) for the Marshall fire victims. Putting our skills to good use we designed assets for I Have A Dream Foundation in Boulder, CO for their biggest fundraiser of the year. Members of our team volunteered as servers, staff, and photographers for Boulder Bridge House’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Presents were donated for kids through the Salvation Army. To finish out the year, we were able to donate a percentage of revenue towards causes near and dear to us. It is an important goal of ours to continue this work through 2023 and help make an impact where we can.

If you have made it thus far, thanks for taking a moment to reflect on our year with us. Feel free to check out more of our work on interactbrands.com. We are looking forward to all of the new opportunities to come our way in 2023.
